Life can bring situations that are very difficult — such as experiencing violence, becoming a victim of a crime, or losing a loved one. In such situations it is important to receive professional support. Through the victim support service it is possible to receivepsychological counselling free of charge, if you have experienced a crime, violence or another traumatic event.At Heaolu Centre in Tallinn, psychological counselling for victim support clients is provided by experienced psychologists, who help clients cope with traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive way.

What is victim support psychological counselling?

Victim support psychological counselling is a state-supported service organised by the Social Insurance Board. The aim of the service is to help people who have experienced a crime, violence or another traumatic event. Through victim support, a person receives a referral for psychological counselling, the costs of which are covered through the state system.

The victim support service can be contacted by the victim themselves, as well as by a family member or witness. A referral to the service can be obtained through a victim support specialist, who helps assess the need for support and guides the person along the counselling journey.

Who is victim support psychological counselling for?

Psychological counselling provided through victim support is intended for people who need support after a difficult or traumatic experience.

Victims of crime or violence

People who have experienced physical, psychological or sexual violence.

Victims of domestic violence

Psychological support for people who have experienced violence from a partner or family member.

Those who have experienced a traumatic event

People who have experienced a serious accident, crisis or another traumatic situation.

People experiencing grief

Psychological support for coping with the loss of a loved one and grief.


How to access psychological counselling through victim support?

To access psychological counselling through victim support, you must first contact the victim support service.

Contact victim support

Call the victim support crisis line116 006 or contact a victim support specialist.

Needs assessment

A victim support worker will discuss your situation with you and assess which type of support is most suitable.

Referral to counselling

If needed, you will be referred to the psychological counselling service.

Book an appointment at Heaolu Centre

Once you have received a referral, you can book an appointment with a psychologist at Heaolu Centre.

The victim support crisis line and support services are available to all victims regardless of age or situation, and the service is confidential and, if needed, anonymous.

Anne joogateekond sai alguses aastal 2017, kui otsustas hakata käima jooga treeningutes. Esialgu paaril korral nädalas ja siis aina intensiivsus suurenes, kuni ta kahe aasta möödudes käis peaaegu iga päev stuudios ja vahel koguni mitu korda päevas.  Ja miks?  Sest trennist tulles oli liigestes ja lihastes imeliselt hea tunne. Muutused meeles ja kehas olid nii võimsad ja püsivad, et see pani mõtlema, mis ime asi selle joogaga on. Anne otsustas minna jooga koolitusele, et matil kogetule saada vastuseid.

Tänaseks on Anne Yoga Alliance ’i poolt sertifitseeritud jooga õpetaja (Vinyasa yoga RYT200 teacher training (2019 - 2020) ja andnud 3 aastat järjepidevalt ise tunde mitu korda nädalas. Anne on end täiendanud järgmiste koolitustega: Yin yoga teacher training 50h (2020), Lastejooga juhendajate koolitus 16-tundi (2020), Jooga biomehaanika töötuba 4-tundi (2021), Somaatika ja valu töötuba 4-tundi (2021), Heliteraapia baaskursus 16-tundi (2023), Mediatatsioon, mindfullness ja jooga nidra koolitus 30-tundi (2023).
